New Year, New Website, New Health Coaching Packages

It's been over a month since I lasted posted here — but, for good reason. First and foremost, I took a break from the blogging enjoy the holidays with my family. Except for freelance work and health coaching clients, I was mindful of my computer time. Secondly, I was traveling quite a bit! We were in California, Mexico, and Napa. Stay tuned for future travel-related posts. :)

In my spare time, I was brainstorming with these two women to make my new logo and website a reality. A huge thank you to both of them. Oh, and so much gratitude for these two wonderful and talented photographers. I can't recommend any of them enough. Without a doubt, though, my new website wouldn't have come to fruition without my web designer, Angela. She not only brought my website to life, but she became one of my mentors in the process. On that note, I've realized how important it is to have a business coach. You'll be stretched to new heights, understand how to take your business strategy to the next level, and you'll learn a lot about yourself in the process.

That said, I've missed blogging. So, let's quickly recap. A lot has happened since my last post in mid-December. It's a new year, of course, but that pales in comparison to other (new) things in my life. The personal and professional growth I've experienced since I left my job has been tremendous. I've become more comfortable in my skin and vulnerability is the name of the game. While you'll still find plenty of food photos and recipes on my Instagram (and blog), my focus has shifted: I'm shedding light on body image and body acceptance, I'm scribbling down my thoughts on the human experience, and I'm spreading positivity on a platform that is filled with passive aggressive bystanders.

In other words, Wellness with Edie has become more than just a space to find healthy recipes. I'm here to empower my followers, readers, and clients to change the trajectory of their lives. I'm here to help them look beyond their unfulfilling careers, unsupportive relationships, and dissatisfactory perception of their bodies. I'm here to guide them on a journey of self-discovery.

All of that said, you might be wondering WHY I'm doing this. And, consequently, HOW I'm doing this.

I'm doing this because I've experienced a life-changing shift myself. I left a job I wasn't passionate about, I finally came to terms with the size and shape of my body, and I've made progress in healing PCOS. In turn, these things have made me happier, more confident, and ultimately, fulfilled. I've also become passionate about what it truly means to be "healthy." I put that in quotes because, let's be real, everyone has a different take and opinion. However, I'm starting to challenge society's standards of healthy — as are many other burgeoning women in this space, like Christy, Robyn, Kylie, Julie, Megan, Victoria (and many more). We advocate for intuitive eating, mindful movement, and most importantly, that there's health at every size.

So, how am I doing this? Via my voice on social media, but also through my health coaching services. Whether you've been a chronic dieter your whole life,  need help increasing your energy levels / balancing your hormones, you're without a menstrual cycle and want it back, or your digestive system is out-of-whack, I'm here to help. To get started, I offer free, 20-minute consultations! You can sign up here

Now that I've explained where I've been and my intentions moving forward, I hope you'll stick around. Expect more blog posts on my thoughts around health and body acceptance, my journey with PCOS, recipes, life in Colorado, and travel.

Much love.
